Shareholder Base
One of the most critical requirements for success as a public company is building a shareholder base and keeping those shareholders informed. Building and managing awareness campaigns to inform existing shareholders and attract new shareholders on an ongoing basis is fundamental. This is an essential element in post listing services.
While FBP draws on own substantial private equity fund, we believe that raising funds from individuals to grow public companies is critical. It provides an early sign of investor interest and begins the process of developing the large investor base that is vital to sustained success for a public company. FBP has developed regional, national and international networks of high net worth individuals on which to draw for funding for companies that we take public.
These networks enable FBP to raise private equity for start-ups through syndicates of qualified and sophisticated investors.
In addition to the capital, the "going public" process requires considerable management skill and resources. FBP provides the expertise in audit and accounting, business management, investor relations, marketing, business development, financings, listing services and post listing services to all its clients. FBP continues to add value in later rounds as a corporate partner, and through follow-on financing, yielding a significant but non-controlling interest at time of an IPO.
